Glamping
Glamping is a contraction of the words ‘glamorous’ and ‘camping’. It can also be described as luxury camping. In our glamping tents you get both comfort – almost like a hotel room – but are still in nature.
It’s a unique way to experience nature – and to be on vacation. Here you get the best of all worlds.
Glamping at Egtved Camping
We have two types of glamping tents in two sizes. Both are equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation where you can get down to business and sleep in double beds in a tent, relax on your own terrace, and cozy up on the sofa in front of the wood burning stove.
When you go glamping with us, all you need to do is book one of our glamping tents. We’ll make sure it’s ready for you when you arrive, so all you have to focus on is enjoying your stay, nature and your vacation.
Udgaard
In our glamping tent, Udgård, you’ll find everything you need. The tent is approximately 30 square meters and is furnished with two double beds, wood-burning stove, sofa group, kitchen (without water), kitchenware and refrigerator.
Outside the tent is a lovely, large, private terrace with a seating area and outdoor fireplace.
Udgård is located close to the lake and forest, giving you a unique experience of luxurious living in nature.
When you stay here, the setting is set to blend in with the tranquillity of nature. You can even watch the night sky from inside, through the transparent construction of the roof. In the lake you can go fishing, paddleboarding and toe dipping.
There are no toilets and showers in the tent – the communal toilets are located up the hill. (approx. 150 meters).
Cars are not allowed in the glamping tent, you can park outside the area and walk the approximately 250 meters to the tent.

Asgaard
The glamping tent, Asgaard, is slightly smaller than the Lotus Belle. It’s about 20 square meters, but still contains everything you need to be glamping and be at one with nature and live luxuriously.
The tent is furnished with a double bed, fridge, kitchenware, chairs and a wood-burning stove. Outside is a lovely private terrace with both a wood-burning stove and two garden chairs.
There is no toilet and shower in the tent – the communal toilets are located up the hill. (approx. 150 meters).
